A bright painted sky was one of the last lights to happen before the sun rose again in the dawn. It held many colors, including orange, purple, red and even a little yellow. A medium sized dog stalks through some bushes, blood lust has taken over his brain and now hes after a small herd of deer. His name was Edge, a purebred german shepherd that has a lust for killing. Edge stalked forward, watching the small herd with a steely glare, lookin for, not the weakest or the strongest, the middle "deer" you could call it. The german shepherd looked at a small buck, whoes antlers were just stubs. Edge's muscles tensed and he lept out of cover, upon landing the herd ran for their lives. He raced after the small buck, "The coward..." Edge thought as the buck tried to stay with a large doe. The buck soon made a left when the doe made a right, Edge kept on his heels. Edge started to get inpatient with this deer, he sped up and was only about a foot behind the buck.
A loud hum echoed into the german shepherd's bark ears and then a large building came into view. But when Edge looked back at the buck, he realized that they were both on a course towards a large door. The male put the brakes on, but thats not what I could say about the buck. The buck ended up ramming into the door, and with a thump, he fell onto the floor. Edge laughed manically at the stupidity of the buck, as he looked at the blood stained door, realized that he had some unfinished buisness with the now dead deer. His paws swiftly carried him over to the dead buck and quickly lunged at his stomach, ripping it open and coming out with a large chunk of flesh. Edge didn't chew, he swallowed and survived the risk of it getting stuck in his throat. Blood lust satisfied, Edge looked at the wall near by and noticed a hole that he might fit through. Edge went over to it and studied it for a minute or two.
The german shepherd bent down and sqeezed through the hole, it was a little tight but he fit. Edge looked around and smelled something that made his mouth water, cooked meat. He went over to the nearest staircase and climbed it swiftly. The smell grew and grew as he padded down the balcony and then it grew the strongest. Edge looked up and saw a man eating what looked to be a freshly cooked hamburger, he snarled and lept on railing farther then the glass window. The male balanced on it like a tight rope, then faced the glass window with knees bent. Then the dog flew through the air and shattered the glass with his skull. Edge didn't care about pain, the man was suprised and flew back as Edge landed on his desk. The german shepherd growled at the human, slowly stalking forward. The human got ran over to the desk and climbed on it, Edge barked loudly at the human and he started to back up. Soon the guy was out of sight, but his screams of pain and fear echoed, then everything was silent, just the hum of the machines. Edge then licked his lips and turned, trotting over to the burger, he grabbed it in his mouth and quickly gulped it down. Full, Edge jumped back on the desk and peered out the window, looking for his next victim.

A new day was beginning after another had finally come to a close. The shining sun rose above the horizon and in doing so created a canvas of colors in the sky. Everything was so beautiful that it was not a shock that Fringe took the time to take everything in. He had awoken earlier than most would have guessed to watch the start of a new day begin. His deep brown optics watched the star rise into view and the moon take its final bows and disappear under the curtain of the horizon. The last few stars faded into the light blue sky hiding behind the rays of the rising sun. Up at the top of a grassy hill Fringe could see everything and did not take a single detail for granted. He loved this time of day and would never miss it for the world. So many overlooked such a time of day without giving it a second thought. But Fringe was different this way. The sun setting was another beautiful sight but would be seen at the end of the day. And there was much more he wanted to do before he allowed this day to end. He rose off the ground and stretched his back and legs allowing a small groan to escape his vocals while doing so. He blinked a few times readjusting his eyes to looking at objects which were not so radiant. No one else was around for miles but then again he was no longer in the city but in the outskirts. There was no life to be seen, just endless fields, trees and one single main road cutting through the two. Perhaps it was time for him to reenter the city and find some breakfast before everything was taken. He ran his tongue across his lips at the thought of food and soon found himself of the hunt for something to satisfy his raging hunger.
After a moment of contemplating Fringe decided it would be best to take the main road into town since there was nothing to be seen in the wilderness he was exploring. He trotted down the large slop placing one snow dipped paw in front of the other. He felt the rays of the sun warm his cloak and his coat absorb it like a sponge. Seeing as it was fall the temperatures were quickly falling any way to keep warmth was appreciated. The tree tops were almost completely bare in preparation for the snow which would soon coat their branches. The blades of grass underneath the Samoyed's pads was coated with dew and the water droplets were kicked off their blades and soaked the tips of Fringe's paws. He was careful not to loose his footing and slip down the hill for it would not be hard to with the factors working against him. Though eventually he was successful in making it down the hill with ease. Only a few meters lingered between the paved road and he. With a quickened pace he soon placed his two front paws on the concrete with his rear paws soon following. The ground felt cold under his pads since the sun had yet to rise high enough to warm the cement. Its rough texture was not as easy to walk across as the soft soil but it was best to follow this road to the city than to wing it and go through the woods. No cars ever drove down the street anyways and even so Fringe would have plenty of time to see its arrival. Not that he was entirely concerned since most humans were kind enough to avoid hitting a stray. Most, but of course not all.
In the distance a speck could be seen on the side of the road. From the far distance Fringe could not make out what it was but his curiosity was now sparked. Most would never have seen such a small dot in the distance but this Samoyed was on full alert. After a few minutes he could tell it was a building with many wires coming into and out of it. It was the main source of power in the city of Nashua though was far out on its outskirts. Few humans actually worked in its walls. Still, perhaps there were some trash cans outside the boundaries where Fringe could grab a quick bite to eat before moving onwards to the city. Only the sound of nails clicking against the concrete could be heard as Fringe made his way closer to where his snack lay. His orbs moved back and forth scanning the terrain before him. It was so tranquil: so peaceful with nothing to disturb it. The rising sun caused the wet dew on the fields to shimmer like the surface of a puddle. In the trees not too far off the birds could be heard singing their morning greeting to the new day and to one another. A slight breeze whistled through the empty tree tops causing the limbs to dance and twirl gracefully. What kind of monster would want to disrupt this peaceful environment? You could not find this kind of calm environment in the city with the constant buzz of humans and the roar of car engines rushing down the streets. Not to mention the constant barking of strays chasing down their prey. But here in the open there was no noise but purely that of nature and to Fringe it was the place where he truly belonged.
The power plant was now before Fringe and his lips soon curled into a smile. There were no trash cans on the edge of the road but perhaps there were some by the front door. When he rounded the corner to approach the front door it was then that he noticed the dead buck laying lifeless in front of the door. The Samoyed froze unsure of how to react or what to do. He slowly made his way over to the lifeless creature noticing its swollen head where its horns had just started to grow and the massive bite taken out of its stomach. It may have died from contact with the door, but to be running at such a high speed something must have been chasing it. He lowered his cranium to investigate the bite taken out of its stomach. The teeth marks showed that it was made by a dog, and a large one at that. The thought caused Fringe to shudder. Who would want to take the life of such a tranquil creature? Deer were one of the most peaceful animals who walked the planet and meant no one harm. He dipped his head in sympathy for the creature hoping that its transfer into the next world was as peaceful as it was. He turned his optics to a small hole which would lead his way into the man building. The tiniest pieces of fur lingered around its edges and appeared to be somewhat new. Fringe inhaled its scent and studied the color pattern. If he was correct it was a male German Shepherd. And whoever they were they had entered the power plant looking for their next victim. For whatever reason Fringe felt the need to enter the plant as well acknowledging the fact he could be the next target for the shepherd. He took his chances and made his way over to the hole.
It was a lot smaller up close than it seemed from far away, but if a German Shepherd could make it through then so could he. He bent his limbs and made an army crawl through the space inching his way forwards slowly. Inside the room was almost pure darkness and the hum of machines making electricity. With a tight squeeze Fringe made it inside and shook his pelt clean. He eyed a staircase which at the top floor growls could be heard. So he was right, the shepherd had just come here. A window was shattered and soon a man could be seen bolting out of the room. He cried and screamed with terror almost tripping down the flight of stairs and when seeing Fringe froze while his cries only grew louder. "Oh my God there is another one?!" Fringe only blinked his chocolate orbs at the man and watching him run out the back door. Whatever the shepherd did must have scared him. He made his way over the steps and climbed the slowly, one at a time. His paws were silent when making contact with the metal with the growling of the machines to drain it out. Once at the top he eyed the shattered window and the door left ajar. Inside he could see the male devouring a piece of meat which once belonged to the scarred for life human. Then he disappeared for a mere second before appearing through the shattered window. Fringe looked up at him and blinked not speaking a word. His face showed no emotion: not fear, intimidation or surprise. He was unsure of what this brute's intentions were, but whatever they were they were not going to work in his favor. __ Puppet: Fringe __ Words: 1,531 __ Muse: Exploding __ Notes: Sorry for the long wait but I made it extra long to make up for it =] Oh and if you want to attack him you can have it hit since I didn't leave you with much, just don't kill him xD[/color]
